Altan Presbyterian Church has welcomed neighbors since 1893. We remain a small rural congregation where people are known as family, not just a number. Our mission is to make room for everyone to worship, connect, and feel at home.
Three ADA-accessible entrances offer visitors options for entering the church. Inside, our well-equipped facilities and sanctuary audio/video system help people with varied needs participate comfortably. CCTV cameras cover parking areas, entrances, and our nursery classroom; families can also enjoy a playground, while a covered pavilion provides space for outdoor gatherings.

What should I expect at a worship service?
Expect a welcoming congregation and a service you can follow along with. Our sanctuary audio/video system helps make spoken words and other parts of worship clear.
Do I need to dress a certain way?
Come in clothing that feels comfortable and appropriate for worship. We are glad to welcome you as you are.
Is the church accessible?
Yes. Altan has three ADA-accessible entrances, giving visitors options for getting into the building. If you need help finding a comfortable place, please ask a member of the congregation.
Can I bring my children?
Absolutely. Children are welcome to attend worship with you. We also have a nursery classroom and a well-equipped playground for families to enjoy.
Will I feel out of place if I come alone?
Not at all. Many people feel unsure on a first visit, and you are welcome whether you come alone or with others. At Altan, we hope you will feel like a person among friends, not just a number.
