A Place to Belong

Where Children Are Part of the Family

From the nursery classroom to the playground, children have room to learn, play, and feel at home at Altan Presbyterian Church.

Growing Together as a Church Family

At Altan, children and families are valued members of our church community. Our small congregation makes it easy to get to know one another, while spaces for indoor care and outdoor play give children room to be themselves. Families can gather for worship and church events knowing we’re committed to an inclusive, accessible, and caring experience for every generation.

A Place for Every Family

Since 1893, Altan Presbyterian Church has been a small rural congregation where people are known by name and welcomed as family. That same spirit shapes the way we care for children. Our nursery classroom offers a dedicated space for little ones, while our well-equipped playground gives children room to enjoy outdoor play. Families can also gather under the covered pavilion at outdoor events. We work to make visits comfortable and accessible, with three ADA-accessible entrances. CCTV cameras cover the parking areas, entrances, and nursery classroom as part of our commitment to a safe environment. Whether your children join you in worship or spend time in the nursery, we want your family to feel included and at home.
